The First tournament of the season will set the tone for who will be crowned WGL champion this season. Sign ups are officailly open from now until November 4th.

Weekend Gamer League Season 1
The Weekend Gamer League is the unofficial Halo eSports league designed to curate a quality experience for amateur players, enthusiasts and spectators. The official game of the Weekend Gamer League is Halo 5: Guardians.
Teams will compete for WGL points in weekly WGL tournaments on Saturdays and Sundays. At the end of the season, teams with the highest WGL point totals will be invited to compete in the WGL Season Championship

The season prize pool will be determined as the season gets closer. Please stay turned for more information in the near future.
Weekly tournaments
The Match rules will be based on the HCS rules. We would like to stream every match to keep to participating athetes engaged in the competion and keep communication flowing during events. We are looking for refferees for spectating matches and keeping the matches fair. The ref and both team captains will report the results of the game.
To Register for the upcoming tournament, the team capaitian will have to register their team's information to the tournament mod. When entering team iformation please be as detailed as possible
3 Month Seasons
The registered teams will be automatically be placed in the season rankings for the season. As the teams compete in the tournament they will score points for both the tournament as well as the season. The team with the highest score at the end of the season will be crowned Season Champions. The winner of each tournament will qualify for the future Tournament of Champions which will develope as the tournaments go on.
Tournament of Champions
The first Tournament of Champions will be held after 4 to 8 Champions crowned. As the Tournaments and Seasons come along the then there will be plans on having 16 to 32 contestants in the Tournament of Champions.
